The Range and Horizon Plane Simulation for Ground Stations of Low Earth Orbiting (LEO) Satellites
Communication via satellite begins when the satellite is positioned in the desired orbital position. Ground stations can communicate with LEO (Low Earth Orbiting) satellites only when the satellite is in their visibility region. The ground station’s ideal horizon plane is in fact the visibility region under 0 ̊ of elevation angle. Because of natural barriers or too high buildings in urban areas,...
متن کاملThe spectrum of radial, orbital and gluonic excitations of charmonium
We present results for the charmonium spectrum from N f = 2 dynamical QCD simulations on 12 3 × 80 anisotropic lattices. Using all-to-all propagators we determine the ground and excited states of S, P and D waves and hybrids. We also evaluate the disconnected (OZI suppressed) contribution to the η c and J/Ψ.
متن کاملOn time-dependent AdS/CFT
We clarify aspects of the holographic AdS/CFT correspondence that are typical of Lorentzian signature, to lay the foundation for a treatment of time-dependent gravity and conformal field theory phenomena. We provide a derivation of bulk-to-boundary propagators associated to advanced, retarded and Feynman bulk propagators, and provide a better understanding of the boundary conditions satisfied b...
متن کاملHow to extract information from Green’s functions in Landau gauge
The infrared behavior of gluon and ghost propagators offers a crucial test of confinement scenarios in Yang-Mills theories. A nonperturbative study of these propagators from first principles is possible in lattice simulations, but one must consider significantly large lattice sizes in order to approach the infrared limit. We propose constraints based on general properties of the propagators to ...
متن کاملKugo – Ojima Confinement Criterion , Zwanziger – Gribov Horizon Condition , and Infrared Critical Exponents in Landau Gauge Qcd
The Kugo–Ojima confinement criterion and its relation to the infrared behaviour of the gluon and ghost propagators in Landau gauge QCD are reviewed. The realization of this confinement criterion (which in Landau gauge relates to Zwanziger's horizon condition) results from quite general properties of the ghost Dyson– Schwinger equation. The numerical solutions for the gluon and ghost propagators...
